Bio
Christine Beckman is an Associate Professor of Organization and Management at The Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine. She joined UCI in 1999 after receiving her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her work has focused on the ways in which organizations learn through their networks, and the ways in which this learning, in turn, effects an organization’s strategic decisions. Her research also focuses on how early team functional experiences, structures and affiliations evolve over time and shape organizational outcomes. She is on the editorial board of Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, Administrative Science Quarterly, and Strategic Organization. She serves as an officer of the Organization and Management Theory division of the Academy of Management.
